Emerita: Assay results

The company released some more assay results from the La Romanera deposit. The resource keeps expanding and the grade of gold and silver (that wasn’t included in the historical) keeps adding to the historical deposit.

which potentially can add significantly to the resource even within the footprint of the historical drilling. The historical estimate was based on a simple lead+zinc cut off grade. In addition, we are observing that the Upper Lens of massive sulphide appears to be more extensive than the historical drilling indicated.

This is amazing execution by a really top notch management team.

    • It is 11.2M tons of resource. you will have to do conversion to get to CU equivalent.

What has already been shown is the historical results missed the gold and silver deposit that is close to surface. So that alone increases the historical deposit size. The drill results have shown there are lens of resource that were not captured in the historical. Also the results are showing the deposit expands beyond historical. So the historical deposit is going to grow.

FWIW, the company drilling increased the La Infanta deposit by 5x, from 0.8M tons to over 4M tons. Who knows how this impacts La Romanera but I’m fairly optimistic the size will increase to multiples of historical.
